Our Journey: From a Small Initiative to a Movement

Rescuing Hearts Foundation began in 2018 as Virtuous Sisters Forum (VSF) with a simple but powerful mission: to empower young people, especially girls, to overcome social vices and challenges like poverty, abuse, and lack of education.

Since then, we have:

• Reached over 5,000 young people through mentorship, school outreaches, and skill empowerment programs.
• Provided over 1,500 girls with sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene education to help them stay in school.
• Supported over 300 students with school materials, including textbooks, uniforms, and school bags.
• Trained over 500 young people in vocational and tech skills, giving them opportunities to become self-reliant.
• Conducted sexual abuse prevention and awareness campaigns in over 20 schools and communities.
• Carried out cancer awareness campaigns, providing education on early detection and prevention.

What Lies Ahead: Expanding Our Impact in 2025 & Beyond

As we look ahead, we are more committed than ever to rescuing hearts, transforming lives, and building a brighter future for young people.

• Expanding our Sexual Abuse Prevention Program to reach at least 50 additional schools and communities.
• Increasing our Vocational & Tech Skills Training, ensuring that over 1,000 young people acquire skills that can lead to financial independence.
• Scaling up our Empowered Girls, Empowered Communities Initiative, targeting an additional 2,000 girls for menstrual hygiene support and personal development training.
• Launching Safe Spaces & Mentorship Hubs where young people can access counseling, skill-building, and opportunities for personal growth.
